In 2020, the world changed. In the blink of an eye, we found ourselves huddled around our computers, staring at a grid of talking heads, trying to understand our new reality while maintaining the same productivity. Over the weeks and months that followed, the meaning of “team” changed. The talks around the water cooler halted abruptly, and the connections we had taken for granted dissipated. 

Sure, we tried to find ways to understand each other outside of our job descriptions, but not being in person, or maintaining our distance, drew a larger gap than the recommended 6 feet.

But, it’s at this time where my brain went to work. When I started creating scavenger hunts for my family. Where I looked for every chance to bring people together through social hours, games, and celebrations. And as restrictions cleared and life went back to our current-day normal, I knew my knack for organization and fostering joy naturally could translate into my work. Into helping teams bond through engaging, memorable experiences.
